Self-guided adventures are a growing aspect of the worldwide travel business. They are an excellent middle way between taking a full-service guided tour and attempting to travel in a foreign country on your own.

Zephyr Self-Guided Adventures has introduced two technologies that are new to the industry and are improving the concept of self-guided travel. First, we loan a Portable Media Player, pre-loaded with videos of our Italian guide Giovanni, to all our tour participants. This allows us to provide our self-guided travelers with two key aspects of our guided vacations: route talks each morning setting the scene for that days adventure and cultural talks explaining the places, people, and history you will encounter during the day. Essentially, you will have your own e-Italian (or e-Giovanni) in your pocket! Second, our driving tour has been converted from the industry standard of paper route directions to an in-car GPS Navigation System, making it much easier to stay on route.

Travel Agents

We love to work with travel agents. If you are a registered travel agent, we will provide you with a 10% commission on any bookings you provide. (This is based on the Basic Price and not the additional optional upgrades.) We know you are the expert on your travelers while we are the expert on self-guided trips in Italy. With one simple form, you can book the majority of your client's hiking, biking, or driving vacation in Italy. Add to that airfare and any pre-tour and post-tour hotels and presto, you have your client's vacation scheduled.
