Included in our Tuscany & Umbria Driving Adventure is a GPS Navigation System to help you find your way from location to location without getting lost.

How It Works

When you meet the Zephyr in-country representative in Spoleto, you will be given a handy GPS unit that mounts on the windshield of your rental car to use for the duration of your adventure. During this meeting, our representative will show you how to use the unit.

The GPS Navigation System is pre-loaded with waypoints along your driving route and is designed to accompany your written turn-by-turn directions. With simple touch commands on the unit's screen, you will tell the unit to take you to the next point of interest on your route. The unit will take you to that location, street by street and turn by turn, using simple English language voice commands. And best of all, if you happen to take a wrong turn and get off route, the GPS Navigation System will re-orient and get you back on route to your next destination.

The technology is simple to use and makes a great complement to the written directions, taking away the concern of driving in a foreign country. Use of the GPS Navigation System is included in all Zephyr Self-Guided Driving Adventures at no additional cost.
